Our second BioBlitz at the Pool Nature Center will be happening all day on May 16th. What is a BioBlitz? The goal is to catalogue as many species as possible in a particular area over a set time. Our 2025 BioBlitz recorded over 480 species of trees, newts, fungi, flowers, frogs, moths, ferns, birds, and much more.
This year's event will include a variety of expert guided explorations, walks, and some crawls. Come early, come late, stay for a little bit, or stay all day!
