Here at the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum we are proud to display one of New England's largest collections of native species along with live animal exhibits, ecology, geology and natural history exhibits. The Museum experience also includes a variety of educational programs and public events. Additionally, nearby access to over 600 protected acres of hiking trails allows for family fun and adventure to continue outside all year long!

The Museum aims to inspire stewardship and appreciation of the natural world through engaging educational experiences. Our vision is of a community committed to a life-long personal relationship with nature and environmental conservation.

Donate
Support for the Museum goes towards educational programs, maintenance and improvements to our facility, and care for our live animals.

Programs
Our programs use live animals, outdoor exploration, audio visual components and hands on activities to bring science and the nature of Vermont alive!
